Accessibility statement
What we aim for, what we know is not fixed yet, and how to report a barrier.
We want everyone to be able to use this site, including people using a screen reader, keyboard-only navigation, magnification or reduced motion settings.
What we aim for
This site was built against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That means, among other things: every page has one main heading and a logical heading order; the site can be operated entirely from the keyboard, with a visible focus indicator; text contrast meets at least 4.5:1 and large text 3:1; status is never signalled by colour alone; animation is switched off when the operating system asks for reduced motion; and every image that carries meaning has alternative text.
Known limitations
Some documents published before this site was rebuilt are PDFs that are not tagged for screen readers. We are working through them, and each resource page states what we know about that file’s accessibility. If you need a document in an accessible format, ask us and we will provide one.
