What the numbers do not say

A count of activities is not the same as a change in someone’s life. We treat these figures as a way of gauging scope, and we measure change separately: through initial and final assessments, follow-up three to six months after a project ends, testimonials, and case studies.

How we measure

Our fourth strategic area is dedicated to evidence, validation and impact. For the 2026-2030 period we committed to a specific indicator framework, reviewed every year, with a mid-term evaluation in 2028 and a final evaluation in 2030.

  • Initial and final measurement in at least 60% of relevant interventions.
  • Follow-up three to six months after closure in at least 80% of the interventions selected for their strategic relevance.
  • At least 150 testimonials collected and at least 30 case studies produced during the period.
  • A documented improvement decision from at least 70% of evaluations.
  • At least 25 impact communication products published during the period.

Progress against these targets is reported in our annual activities report.

Stories of change

We only publish testimonials and results we can evidence, with the consent of the person quoted. Where we have none for a period, this section stays empty rather than being filled with invented quotes.
