European Future – Green & Sustainable (EFGS)

The European Future: Green Sustainability project aims to promote environmental sustainability through education, green entrepreneurship and the active participation of young people. It seeks to empower young people, as well as professionals and youth leaders, to adopt more sustainable practices and lead positive changes in their communities. Through non-formal education methodologies, the project fosters creativity, innovation and commitment to a greener and more environmentally friendly future.

The main results of the project include a series of podcasts created by the participating young people, five educational webinars focused on sustainability and green entrepreneurship, an online platform centralising resources and materials, and a manual designed specifically for youth workers and leaders.

In addition, good practices in green entrepreneurship were collected and educational and methodological tools were developed for non-formal training activities.

The impact of the project was significant, highlighting the three training sessions held in France, Macedonia and Serbia, which brought together young people from different parts of Europe. These sessions addressed key topics such as sustainability, green entrepreneurship and environmental education, as well as kick-starting the production of podcasts with the active participation of attendees. An online youth conference was also organised, where a group of young people with experience in sustainability reflected on challenges related to this topic, environmental education and green businesses. These activities not only strengthened green entrepreneurship skills and fostered environmental awareness, but also consolidated a collaborative network between the participating European communities.
