The Game On project provides innovative tools to enhance the professional and transversal skills of young immigrants and individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds who face significant barriers due to social, economic, and cultural factors. Through the development of specifically designed board games , the project addresses key skills such as proficiency in the native language, acquisition of foreign languages, mathematical, scientific, and technological competence, digital skills, autonomous learning, intercultural, social, and civic competence, entrepreneurship, and cultural expression.

The project’s approach combines educational innovation with the direct participation of beneficiaries, implementing activities such as needs research, game mechanics design, beta testing with iterative improvements, and the creation of training packages for trainers . Additionally, workshops and training sessions have been conducted for youth workers in direct contact with target groups, ensuring the effective implementation of the developed tools.

The outcomes include a 30% increase in employability and readiness for better-paying jobs among young participants, with 600 youth aged 15 to 21 using the tools during the first year of implementation. Moreover, 50 youth workers from NGOs and the public sector have been trained to actively use these tools, expanding the project’s impact across Europe.
