ARCHILAB workshop brings digital education careers to students in Spain

On 19 February 2026, Backslash organised a workshop at IES Johan Carballeira in Bueu (Galicia) as part of the European project ARCHILAB: eLearning Architects: Designing the Future of the Labour Market. The activity involved 24 students aged 15–16, who explored the role of digital learning and the emerging professional profile of the eLearning Architect.
Through interactive and participatory activities, students reflected on the skills needed to design effective online learning experiences and discussed how digital education is shaping future career opportunities. The session also introduced participants to the main results of the ARCHILAB project, including the non-formal curriculum for eLearning Architects and the project’s eLearning platform.
The workshop helped raise awareness among young learners about the importance of digital skills for their future educational and professional pathways, while encouraging them to think critically about how learning experiences are designed in digital environments.
The ARCHILAB project is co-funded by the European Union.
