Between March and April, the FutureMe partnership made significant progress on several fronts: project management, curriculum development, national training and, most excitingly, a real pilot with young people.

3rd Transnational Project Meeting

Partners gathered in Valencia to take two key decisions that will shape the final months of the project.

First, the team mapped out concrete steps to digitise the FutureMe training, opening the methodology to practitioners beyond in-person delivery.

Second, partners reached agreement on the path to closing the final training curriculum, the core product designed for youth professionals. The finish line is in sight.

4th National Training Session

The fourth session of the national FutureMe training cycle continued the monthly format, where youth professionals from different fields experience the methodology from the inside, as participants rather than as facilitators.

“By going through the activities themselves, practitioners develop first-hand understanding of what young people experience, making them more effective and empathetic when they later apply these tools.”

First Pilot with Young People

FutureMe content was piloted with young people for the first time in a formal educational setting. Two 90-minute sessions were delivered to students in a VET class at IES Juan de Garay, a group of young people at a pivotal moment in their personal and professional lives.

The experiential methodology, built around feeling, reflecting and acting rather than passive listening, proved well suited to this group. Participants explored their motivations, mapped the areas of their life where energy is concentrated, and left each session with a concrete mini-step they had committed to taking.
