ARCHILAB Training for VET Educators in Belgrade

From 18 to 22 November 2025, ARCHILAB delivered a five-day training in Belgrade, Serbia, for nine VET educators from Spain, Croatia and Serbia. The programme aimed to strengthen their competences as eLearning architects: professionals able to design, deliver and evaluate high-quality digital VET that is learner-centred, inclusive and aligned with EU quality standards.

The week followed a clear learning flow. Early sessions focused on building trust, sharing expectations and exploring the eLearning architect profile, connecting it with frameworks such as EQAVET and DigCompEdu. Participants also examined how non-formal education principles can be translated into digital VET, together with key legal aspects such as GDPR and copyright.

The methodology relied fully on non-formal education, with group work, simulations, case studies, practical tasks and peer feedback. Every activity included reflection and transfer to participants’ professional contexts, while facilitators adapted the rhythm based on group needs. Digital tools were not only presented but used as learning environments themselves.

Mid-week, participants experimented with digital tools to create interactive micro-modules and collaborative lessons shaped by multimedia learning and user-experience principles. The final part of the programme addressed adaptive learning, inclusive digital pedagogy and sustainability, concluding with the revision of participants’ own materials and the development of individual action plans.

The training successfully combined strong methodology, hands-on design practice and continuous reflection in a supportive small-group setting. Participants left with a clearer understanding of their role as eLearning architects, increased confidence in selecting and using digital tools, stronger skills to design engaging and inclusive digital VET, and concrete plans to improve their organisations’ learning offer.
